Supporting sustainable careers, healthier bodies, present lives, and real energy.
For high-performing professionals who are done running on fumes and overdrive—
What if the problem isn’t stress—but your relationship to it?
What if the missing piece is learning how to care for your nervous system and work with your body, not against it?
I help you move from surviving to truly thriving—in your career and your life—without sacrificing your body.
For years, I ran on adrenaline and cortisol — stacking caffeine, sugar, and adrenaline just to keep going.
On the outside, I looked productive and high-functioning - a “successful” dentist.
On the inside, my nervous system was living in survival
— even though I didn’t recognize it at the time.
Survival mode is often subtle.
It doesn’t always look like panic attacks, collapse, or full burnout.
Sometimes it looks like being wired but tired — always “on,” yet unable to truly switch off.
Relying on caffeine or sugar to get through the day rather than quality rest.
Struggling to rest, relax, or “shut off your mind”, even when you finally get a break or time off.
It can also look like:
feeling easily irritated, agitated, or impatient over little things
reacting at work or in your relationships — then feeling guilty afterward
disconnected or emotionally flat
over-controlling, perfectionism, or needing everything to be “just right” to feel okay
getting caught in mental loops — replaying conversations and questioning if you said or did the right thing long after it’s over, increasing your anxiety.
feeling productive, yet oddly disconnected from joy or presence
This isn’t a personal failure — it’s your nervous system feeling overloaded.
This is the pattern I now help others gently shift.
Together, we’ll work toward creating:
a career and life where your nervous system feels resourced — not just surviving
a body that feels supported and restored, rather than tense or depleted
energy that comes from rest - not stimulants, stress, or pressure
greater presence and ease at work and at home
success that feels nourishing, not costly
These are not quick fixes, but lifelong foundational skills.
Once integrated, they change how you show up — in your work, your relationships, your parenting, and in your relationship with yourself.
Your career, caregiving, or leadership role
doesn’t have to come at the cost of your body
or your nervous system.

Dr. Diana Liu has practiced general dentistry for over a decade, is a mama to a sweet toddler boy, and is the founder of Rest to Thrive, supporting ambitious clinicians, leaders, and mothers in cultivating sustainable rest, mindfulness, and nervous system health.
For years, she did what she only knew — push through, hustle, achieve — sourcing energy from stimulants, pressure, and adrenaline despite exhaustion. Overtime, this led to multiple experiences of burnout, musculoskeletal pain, and insomnia that nearly caused her to leave dentistry.
Instead of quitting, she turned inward. Yoga and meditation became the catalyst that transformed her relationship to stress — and to her work.
Stress will ALWAYS be part of life. Motherhood and clinical practice each carry a significant mental, emotional, and physical toll.
It's impossible to avoid stress, the difference lies in how we meet it: with tools that support regulation, presence, and energy from true rest, rather than living in chronic depletion and survival patterns.
Today, she is devoted to supporting individuals and organizations to integrate quality rest, nervous system health, and mindfulness as foundational life skills.
She is passionate to bridge a much needed gap in high-pressure professions, where nervous system education is largely missing — yet foundational to feeling greater ease, resilience, and fulfillment in work and family life.
Because true success isn’t just external metrics—it’s how it feels in your body, your nervous system, and well-being.
